One of the main things we do here at the Youth Rail Enthusiasts Association is hold a number of different competitions and events for our members. In this section of our website you can find out more about the competitions and events which are currently taking place and also read about some of our big events which take place each and every year.

Video Fest

Towards the end of each year we hold our annual Video Fest competition where we give our members the title of a video and they have to create a video to match this title and try and win great prizes which are often even provided by Britain’s train operating companies! Find out more.

Photograph of the Fortnight

Every two weeks we hold a photograph of the fortnight competition. The winner of the previous competition will have chosen a theme and members of the forums are invited to submit a photograph which they’ve taken in response to this theme. Find out more.

YREA Lottery Draw

Each week we hold a lottery draw on our forums. All members are welcome to take part in this and although you can’t win real money if you match the numbers drawn each Sunday night you could win some YREA points! Find out more.
